I thought you might be interested in knowing, we just finished our Manitoba Child Care Association’s annual conference here. On the Friday evening there was an awards dinner. The award for Exceptional Early Childhood Educator of the Year was awarded to Terry Bussey.
I have known Terry for many years and it was nice to see him recognized for the amazing work does and the countless lives he has touched here for the past 27 years. One thing of particular interest is that in the 20 years the association has been giving this award, this was the first time it has ever been awarded to a male.
Terry gave the best acceptance speech of the evening and shared some words of true inspiration to those attending.
